Siberian Glass is ready to buy glass waste from you (glass cullet and glass containers):
— Flint bottle / can – 4 rubles/kg;
— Amber bottle – 3,5 rubles/kg;
— Green bottle – 2 rubles/kg;
— Window glass – 3 rubles/kg.

Requirements for glass containers (bottle / can):
— no caps or corks;
— paper labels are allowed.

Window glass requirements:
— no dirt, mastic, or paint along the edges;
— no internal metal gaskets or plastic elements;
We do not accept armored and tinted glass, triplex, and mirrors.

  • from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00;

Why do we need glass waste?

It is technologically more difficult to produce glass containers without glass waste. One ton of glass cullet replaces 1.2 tons of natural components, thus Siberian Glass optimizes the cost of delivering minerals from other regions. In addition, the melting point of glass cullet is not as high as a mixture of sand, soda, and dolomite: every 10% of recyclable materials in the furnace charge reduce energy consumption by 3%, and glass furnaces burn out not after 7-10 years but after 10-15 years of operation.

How does it affect the environment?

Since glass can be recycled an unlimited number of times, the depletion rate of mineral formations reserves in the earth’s crust slows down. With a decrease in energy consumption, carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere are reduced.

What can you do?

According to our estimates, 55 thousand tons of used glass containers are thrown away in the Novosibirsk region annually, but only 10-12 thousand tons are collected. It takes more than a thousand years to decompose glass. By recycling glass, you prevent the accumulation of waste at the existing garbage dumps and the formation of new ones.

Care for environment is slowly becoming a part of our culture and behavior: more and more people in Novosibirsk share the theory of responsible consumption and, among other things, are beginning to recycle.
